Meeting Times/Locations/Fees

TIMES: We will continue to have all the meetings start at 5:30pm (if you'd like to start later, please email me or bring it up at the next meeting). Ideally we would like to be finished with the meeting at 7:30pm. If you can't make the meeting or you feel like you will be late, please let us know with plenty of notice so we can decide whether to reschedule or invite another person to the meeting. We really want to try and have multiple disciplines represented at the meetings (ideally atleast one general dentist, orthodontist, periodontist, and lab technician). We may decide in the future that an O.S. is also needed. however, we will base that on the next few meetings.
LOCATIONS: For now we will keep the meetings at our office (Monokian Dental), however, we are more than happy to rotate offices if someone else wants to have it at theirs.
FEES: Every member, please bring $20 to the next meeting for food and drinks. When the money is used up, we will collect more.

Schedule Change for meeting on 8/12/10

The meeting on August 12, 2010 has been canceled. We will skip this month and meet again in September.

LITERATURE REVIEW TOPIC 7/15/10

Thanks to the suggestion from Barry Polanksy, our next Lit. review topic will be on the topic of Neutral Zone. Please research atleast one article on this subject. If you have any other topics you would like researched please either email me (mikem@monokiandentistry.com), post it on the blog, or bring it up at the next meeting.

Also, please remember to bring a case to review for the next meeting (you can email it to me, print out the photos, or bring in your laptop). Realistically I can only imagine going through 1-2 cases per meeting, however, the more people that bring cases, the more we have to choose from.

Look forward to seeing everyone at the next meeting...

Literature Review Topic (Thursday June 17th)

For the next meeting. I'd like for the literature review topic to be on ankylosis (causes, treatment, etc...). Just to let you know, I do most of my researching on pubmed.gov. I can show everyone in more detail on the 17th.

Look forward to seeing everyone at our office for the next meeting. If you have any other topics that you'd like to do literature reviews on, bring it up at the next meeting.
